From your store to your app

You shape the shopping experience. Our team prepares releases for Google Play and the Apple App Store.

1. Connect and design

Open ShopForge from Shopify Admin. Check the catalog connection, then choose Design your app. Edit home, catalog and product pages, reorder widgets and choose colors, images, collections and products. Preview representative phone, foldable and tablet layouts, and switch between Android and iOS navigation.

2. Keep your project

Wait for the saved confirmation before closing. Your draft will be there when you return. If someone edits the project at the same time, follow the conflict notice: an older version cannot silently overwrite a newer one.

3. Submit changes

In Submit and publish, check What happens when you submit. ShopForge compares your draft with the published release. Compatible content goes live; a first release or native changes go to our team. You don’t choose between the two paths and don’t compile, export AAB files or use Xcode.

4. Understand the result

Compatible images, text, colors and layouts become available on the next launch or within about 10 seconds while the app is open and online. Saving a draft does not publish it. Offline devices keep their available copy. New native features, permissions or integrations can require a release and store review. When the team is needed, it receives an immutable copy of your submission; later edits stay in your draft.

Languages

The studio and app interface support Italian and English, with a remembered language selection. The mobile app follows the device language by default. Product information and merchant-written content remain your store’s content; changing the interface language does not automatically translate them.

Premium and third-party apps

Our team handles agreed adaptations. Theme monitoring requires a verified Premium plan and separate consent. Detected changes create team tasks; they do not automatically convert your theme. Returns portals, loyalty and other services require API, license and access checks.

What publication requires

A submission date is agreed after reviewing your materials. Apple and Google determine store review timelines and approval.

Support

Use Plans and service to submit and track requests, or email hello@smokingmirror.eu. Describe the issue and desired result; never send passwords, tokens or shopper data.
